Adelaide is seeing a major overhaul of Tram lane(s) and drivers must be aware of the Tram lane rules that every road user can share the road safely.
Drivers should always take extra care when driving near trams and be on the lookout for pedestrians who cross the road to catch a tram without looking around.And there is an added obstruction if the pedestrians are using mobile phone or other hearing devices.
